Our Mission
Classic Glass Corvette Club of Marietta GA (CGCC for short) was formed by a small group of local Corvette enthusiasts led by founding member Carl Etter in 1983. Most notably, the one year where there was no new Corvette!
The mission of CGCC is to provide an opportunity for owners and enthusiasts of Corvettes to meet and share mechanical expertise for the primary purpose of restoration and maintenance of America’s only production sports car; to encourage planned trips, events and social activities for the betterment of the community, and to encourage careful and skillful driving on public highways.
A few years after founding, the club decided to begin to give back to the community by sponsoring fund-raising events to support local charities and the National Corvette Museum. Over the 40+ years of its existence, the club has donated well over $100,000 to charity.
Presently the club boasts more than 325 members and has more than 30 annual events.
