Marl Basso's 2013 Cyber Gray Metallic GS Coupe
 Since the first time a rode in a 'Vette in high school, I knew I had to have one. This is my third, and absolutely the best of the lot. Got my first (a white ‘75) in 1982 and followed up with an ‘82 Collector’s Edition around 1988. Then life got in the way and it wasn’t until I retired a couple of years ago that I started looking again. I did my research and decided on a ’13 Grand Sport since it was the last C6 GS and had the 60th anniversary badging, and was a manual with a nice bright interior - my last three rides had been all been black and I needed of a change. I looked for about five months before I found this 2013 Grand Sport with only 20K miles in Tallahassee, FL and was able to have it transported here by CarMax. Almost lost it to another buyer though. I had been going back and forth for several weeks with the sales folks to get the build sheet info when another buyer stepped in and paid to have it trailered to VA. Thankfully my local sales guy and his manager here at CarMax in Kennesaw intervened and told the other buyer the car was already spoken for. So, after coming so close to losing it, owning my GS will always be special. I love the Cyber Grey metalflake color and two-tone interior and am considering a glass top if I can find the right deal. In the meantime, I smile every time I push “start” and that LS3 cranks to life. And there’s really nothing like rowing through the gears and feeling the car respond. It’s one of life’s little pleasures..
